Cypress Mountain

Blame West Vancouver. The council of West Van has decided that mtbers are as welcome as crackheads so officially mountian biking on Cypress is banned. The trails are still there and rideable but they are falling into disrepair. The district cites environmental concerns when they tell you how they came to this idiotic decision but it's lawyers they are really scared of. This is proven by their reluctance to allow any trail maintenance to be undertaken. Don't get me wrong - there are some fun trails on Cypress and they are easily shuttled.
